We just finished our postOverrated aspects of Las Vegas, and while the list is short, the negativity towards Las Vegas got me down. It's not usually my style when I talk about Las Vegas.
With that in mind, I thought it would be fun to come up with a list of things to do, eat, and drink that Las Vegas visitors feel they underestimate or overlook altogether.
Do you have a hidden-in-the-wall restaurant or activity you never miss when you're in town? Leave it in the comments!
Here are some elements of the Las Vegas tour that I personally find insufficient.
Underrated attractions in Las Vegas
NYNY Big Apple Stand:There's a reason why 1.4 million people flock to this roller coaster every year, offering great views and a thrilling ride. Costing $19-$23 per ride ($10 for repeat trips) is great value.
What makes this underrated Las Vegas attraction better is the lack of a queue. Jump right!

Ellis Island Casino/Craft Beer Restaurants:The gameplay is good, but the food and craft beer options are the biggest draw. Our favorite meal at Ellis is their $8.99Breakfast offer with steaks and eggsIt's not even on the menu. The menu on Ellis Island is full of good deals. It's not fancy, but if you're looking for a solid meal at a good price, Ellis is hard to beat.
Add 20 ounces. craft beer for pennies. Ellis Island is a short walk from Horseshoe and well worth it. If you're looking for value, put this "underrated thing to do in Vegas" at the top of your list.

CX (Centennial Express) Bus to Fremont Street from Harry Reid International Airport:while I thinkon DeuceWhile running up and down the Strip to Fremont Street is terribly overcrowded due to overcrowding and frequent stops, the CX is the exact opposite.
If you want to get from the airport to your hotel on Fremont Street,CXis your best bet for only $2 each way. Underrated and largely unused by most tourists.

Happy Half Hour w High Rollerze:The High Roller itself is not underestimated. Everyone has heard of it and it can be seen from almost anywhere on the Strip.
However, the open bar option is underrated. For $60, the so-calledhappy half hour packageprovides access to an open bar in your cabin. Depending on how much rum and coke you can drink, it's an underrated value.
I've already done 3 lucky half-hour laps in the High Roller and I've been very impressed each time. You will get your money's worth!
Read more about my happy half-hour experience!

Old slot machines:Most casinos in Las Vegas only offer slot machines with modern TITO (ticket-at-the-box) technology that eliminates the need for coins or chips, however some still offer slot machines that drop coins into a metal tray.
If you're looking for that familiar ting, ting, ting check out my (shortened) list of casinos still offeringgames that work with real chips/coinsincluding the original impossible to find Sigma Derby racing game.

Miracle Mile Stores:While most malls are not,Miracle Mile Stores at Planet Hollywoodare among our favorite underrated attractions in Las Vegas due to their abundancecheap foodydrink dealsOffered.
Choose Flights for 3 for $12 cocktails or Ocean One for 3 drinks for 1 plus their popular $5.99 lunch menu.

Las Vegas Art District:Usually overlooked and completely underestimated by most Las Vegas visitors, the arts district is just a few blocks from the Fremont Street Experience and can be accessed viafree transport to the city center.
What you will find in the 18 blocks that make up the district is a completely different vibe than in the more touristy parts of Las Vegas. There are fantastic and unique eateries scattered around the area (check out Esther's Kitchen), several bars/breweries and a variety of art and antique shops. Not a shopper myself, I can attest that the shops are really nice, and many offer cave gear for men or vintage casino memorabilia.

Strat Observation Deck and SkyPod:Strat remains poorly visited by tourists, mainly due to the resort's location at the northern end of the Strip. However, there are plenty of reasons to visit, including cheap board games, great views from the SkyPod Observation Deck, and dining and dining options with a view.
If you're an adrenaline junkie, you should check out the 3 attractions at the top of the observation deck. Access to the Observation Deck is $20, and rides can be added for less than $10 each - a great price for an exhilarating ride with minimal waiting time.
see my latestSkyPod observation deck review!

Main Street Station in Downtown Las Vegas:Located a few blocks from street artists and concerts, Main Street is a true downtown gem.
With an impressive array of antiquities on display, including parts of the Berlin Wall, the gates of the Royal Bank of Kuwait, a chandelier from the Opera Figaro in Paris, Main Street is much more than a casino - it's a museum.

Also check out Triple 7 Brewery at Main Street Station. Quality beer options at a good price won't disappoint: $6 for 16oz / $7.50 for 23oz.

City Escape:According toBadanie Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority 2021, only 12% of visitors said they had visited or plan to visit natural attractions outside of Las Vegas, such asHoovera socket, Grand Canyon,Valley of Fire State Park,Santo Tomas ghost town, oRed Rock National Conservation Area.
If you are in the city long enough, take a day, rent a car and see the natural beauty. A personal favorite is driving to Lake Mead and abusing a rental jet ski.

Frozen Baileys en O'Sheas:The best drink in Las Vegas to start the day after a crazy night. Nothing soothes the throat like the icy, malty texture of Frozen Baileys only offered at O'Sheas at LINQ.
Best Golfs in Las Vegas:You can have Topgolf in your hometown, but it's not up to Las Vegas standards. Las Vegas' incarnation of Topgolf has all the aspects of a traditional experience, but also includes a two-story pool (free entry!), 5 unique bars, video poker, TVs of all sizes scattered throughout the grounds, and great food. With 4 large screens at the end of the driving range, Topgolf is the perfect place to sweat your sports betting.

CVS/Walgreens i pasek:I only hear a scream. How Bold Strip Commercialize More! The underestimated reality is that the stores popping up left and right offer tremendous value. Equip your room cheaply and take a tall boys 3-pack on the go.
I know I will never spend $19.99 on a small bottle of sunscreen in the hotel gift shop again!
Titanic exhibition in Luxor:If you are a history lover like me, this attraction will surprise you.
Inside the 25,000-square-foot exhibition area, there are many items recovered from the shipwreck, including luggage, eating utensils, and even a massive piece of the ship's hull.
In addition, replicas of Classes 1 and 3 were built on display, as well as a grand staircase. No doubt you will feel a strange bond with the passengers of the ill-fated ship. The Titanic has not been recognized and is worth the trip.
I recently stayed - see mineTitanic Review: Artifacts Exhibition.

We hope we've been able to help you identify one or two underrated things to do in Las Vegas on your next trip! Do you have a favorite, overlooked or underrated thing to do while in Las Vegas? Leave it in the comments!
