Arrival information
You will land in Heraklion and a member of the team will pick you up from the airport. On the way to your accommodation, you will take a short city tour by car. On this tour, the schedule for the next few days will be explained to you and some important places, buildings, shops and restaurants will be shown to you. Afterwards, you will be transferred to your accommodation and have the rest of the day for free. You will have time to rest, explore the area or meet other volunteers.
The day after your arrival you will start your orientation program and learn a lot about Greek culture, customs and house rules. If necessary, you will go to the city together for a monthly public transport ticket or go directly to your workplace. There you will be shown the workplace and the next procedures will be explained.
